The easement guaranteeing public access to the cemetery from the county road has been granted to the Antonio López Family Cemetery and officially recorded! This is thanks to Gracie Lopez Gruber and her daughter Ariana Muñoz, with the help of Maria Teresa Canales Garza, who did the title research and paperwork.
The perimeter fencing is also now complete (see photo below).
With these two items checked off, all that’s left in the beautification project is gathering the documentation to apply for historical status. Stay tuned for more updates as that work progresses!
